Bodkin House named after Bodkin Wood behind it photo was taken summer 2001 when the plaster was removed from the exterior revealing proof of alterations carried out in the past, This was once a very old Inn named the Crown it was a coaching stage between Bath and Stroud or Cirencester photo was taken from Petty France Hotel car park, at the turn of the century it was split into about 4 homes until restored. The middle section seems to be original with the section to the left being added not long after, the right side being added later, there are also extensive rooms to the rear the stables were opposite and now part of Petty France Hotel
