This is Back Street Hawkesbury Upton circa 1875 the house in the background is known locally as the Big House it was originally built for Lord Justice Hale but he never lived there as he died just as it was completed. St Johns Street Chapel is to the left of it. The house was used by the Jenkinson’s for a short period then split into 5 and used as the village Union House today it is still 5 separate homes
