My Family History Pages

As most of us do I wondered who my ancestor's were I recall asking my grandfather about his memories of his grand parents but to my surprise he never knew them, it was the same for my grand mother because they had such large families and the life expectancy of the times the grand parents died before the younger grand children were born. So I thought to myself one day I will research my family history, but I had no idea how to do it then I got bored playing games on my computer and started drawing squares inserting names and linking the box's it was the Pond Dippers mailing list that made the difference the help and advice I recieved was incalcuable, I didn't know what to expect and made all the usual mistakes but below is the on going results, If I can be sure of one thing, I do make mistakes so always check where you can from original sources the files are working files and where no absolute proof can be found assumptions are made on a "calculated" basis. The work is by no means all mine and I acknowledge the generous contribution of many others and in particular John Stinchcombe, I like to think the files are used as a forum for further research.
